History
Moran Sound are a family-owned business run by Tony and Helen Moran. We first opened our doors in Breck Road, Liverpool in the halcyon days of the late 1960's and moved to Gateacre Village in 1985. Today we are no longer simply a general music shop but more of a customer focused musical instrument showroom where you can relax and sample our extensive range of quality guitars and other instruments without any hassle from sales people.

Service
If you have travelled some distance to reach us and would like a tea or coffee please ask and we will be more than happy to oblige. Parking is no real problem as just across the village green there are ample free parking spaces. There are also some excellent pubs in the village which offer food and further free parking.

Re-stringing and instrument setups are done on the premises and can often be carried out while you wait but please check in advance to avoid disappointment. Quotations are available for larger work and repairs.

Sales
We offer instruments to suit all budgets and ability levels from beginner to professional musician. We will always advise you which product is best for your needs and will never sell an instrument that's not right for you.

Also, for straightforward sales without part-exchange requests, we will match online prices of the major UK Internet retailers to give you the best value for money.

Buying
We are constantly looking to buy good condition, quality instruments and guitars of distinction. Just give us a call and tell us what you have that you would like to sell, you may be surprised at how far we will travel to obtain these instruments and you can be assured of a polite and professional service.
